School of Social Science & Public Policy
Established at the start of this decade, the School is one of the largest groups in any UK university to focus on policy-oriented, multidisciplinary research. The strength of the School is based on work developed by individual scholars and on multi-disciplinary collaboration (both within its departments and within its interdisciplinary research centres) that is helping to set the research agenda in the UK and internationally.
The strong research base of the School has allowed it to establish influential links with the policy community in the UK and abroad as well as with a wide range of other external partners, ranging from multinational corporations in the City of London to local arts organizations.
