MPhil/PhD in Bioinformatics
Applications are invited for research in the following areas:
- structural genomics
- functional genomics
- comparative genomics
- algorithms and databases
- systems biology.
Research students are normally registered initially for an MPhil degree, and may transfer to the PhD after the first completed year (or part-time equivalent), following a formal review. Students registered for MPhil/PhD degree programmes are expected to submit their theses within three years (full-time) and within six years (part-time) of initial registration.
