The ELC offers different types of support for all King’s students and staff. All the support is free and runs throughout the academic year.The support focuses on the language and study skills that will help you make the most of your time at King’s and settle into a new and challenging environment.
There are two types of support available:
- In-sessional (if English is not your first language)
- Study Skills support (native or near-native English speakers)

Writing tutorials
The English Language Centre also offers writing tutorials focussing on a piece of work in progress and ways in which it can be improved.
