Main navigation
The main navigation is the table of contents on the left of every page. This provides access to other web pages and sub-sections in that area of the site.

Top navigation
Direct links to useful tools:
- Text only: a text only version of the page you are on
- Internal: available only to King's staff and students
- Contact: College contact details
- Feedback: site feedback form
- Search: searches the King's website
Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs just under the banner of every page show the navigation path to the current page and allows the visitor to link to any of the pages along that path.

Right navigation
The navigation on the right of most pages on the King's website has quicklinks and promotion articles.
Generally:

- Quicklinks articles link to other pages on the King's website. They always have the heading Quicklinks.
- Promotion articles: link to either King's pages or external websites. They can have different headings, eg What's new, and may include an image.
Page footer
The footer appears on every page on the site and provides direct links to site management and governance information.
